English:

1. By July 30th we must report what the president/vice-presidents of each school & grade must accomplish.

2. We must vote on the new 7 wonders of the world by August 30th (mandatory for leaders)

3. We must complete our letters to the 101 Congressmen regarding the FTA. Seal each letter in an envelope with a stamp; give it to the president by Saturday.

4. You may apply for Heal the Bay from 7/18-7/22.

5. Each individual must make 10 emails each.

6. We will be holding a contest to recruit 3 members each for PAVA!

7. There will be a parent meeting at Ha-ry's house on 7/24.

8. There will be leadership classes in September and October.

9. Attend the law seminar from 6am-9am at the 한국 교육원 on August 4.

10. Attend the Dale Carnegie Leadership Seminar from 9-5 on 8/20.

11. Be on time for the Hollywood Clean Up on 8/27!

12. Apply for the President's Award by the end of July!

1. PAVA 회원당 10 개씩 이메일 모으기 운동.

1. Try to obtain at least 10 emails for each person.
2. Vote for Jeju Island online as the new 7 wonders of the world by 8/30.

4. We need 10 cheerleaders and 3 청사초롱s for the Hollywood Parade.
5. We are holding a contest to see who can recruit the most members! Try to recruit at least 3 members.
6. We are taking applications for the leadership class in September and October.
7. Apply for the president's award by the end of July.
8. Be sure to attend the South Korea Concert of Traditional Korean Music!

9. To be eligible to do the president's award, you must have the following: your parents must be members of PAVA, you must be learning samoolnori, and you must be taking/have taken the leadership class.

사물놀이 공지사항

1. 9월10일 총연습시작 3시까지 김영옥 중학교 (벌몬과 6가) 늦을시 가차없이 아웃됨을 알려드립니다.

(복장: 파바셔츠, 하얀양말, 북이나 장구 묶는 끈 꼭 지참)

2. 스넥과물 각지부별로 준비

3. 학생들 연습시 부모님 필히 참관 (부모님이 나가시면 학생도 out)

4. 11번 연습중 단 한번이라도 빠지면 out

English:

1. The deadline to vote for Jeju Island for the new 7 wonders is on September 15. (200 votes = Congress Award)

2. There is a marathon run on 9/10 in LA.

3. There is a beach clean up on 9/17 at Dockweiler Beach @Imperial Highway from 8-12am. Be there! If you are doing the president's award, then it is mandatory for you to be there. Bring your PAVA t-shirts and ID's.

5. We need 800 Christmas letters by 11/15. Each household needs to write 30 each.

6. There is a PAVA dinner on 9/9 from 6:30-9pm. You need to pay $20.

8. If you need to renew your pava id's, then make sure you do it!

Samoolnori Warning

1. Starting 9/10 there will be a whole practice at Kim Yungohk Middle School. If you are late then you are out.

MAKE SURE TO WEAR YOUR PAVA SHIRTS, WHITE SCOCKS, and bring your strings for your jangoos and books.

2. Each district needs to bring their own snacks and water.

3. While the students are practicing, parents must be present. If they are not present, their children will be outted.

4. If you miss any practices, you will be fired.

한글:
1. 헐리웃 퍼레이드 총 연습 (사물놀이 모자)
영락교회 파킹장 사용시 스페이스를 잘 활용해서 최대한 많이 파킹할수 있도록 협조 부탁드립니다. 파바가 환경 단체로써의 모범을 보이고 또한 항상 뒷정리 하는것을 생활화 하도록 아이들에게 지도해 주시기 바랍니다.
이번 할리웃 퍼레이드 캡틴상 (주 상원 의장상)을 받기 위해서는 리더쉽 클래스를 해야 합니다.
2. LA 강 청소
    일시: 10/29/11 토요일 오전 8:00-11:00
    주소: 3201 Riverside Drive LA, CA 90027
    *게이트는 7시 45분에 열어줍니다. 지부장 이상은 8시까지 도착하시기 바랍니다.
    *지부장님들께서는 청소할 학생들 명단과 캡틴학생들 명단을 구별해서 제출해 주시기 바랍니다.

3. 주한 미군 위문 엽서나 편지 보내기
    *되도록 크리스마스 카드에 직접 글을 스도록 해 주시기 바랍니다.
    *각 지부별로 최소 500통의 카드나 편지를 써 주시기 바랍니다. (1명당 20통씩 각자쓰기 - 11월 27일까지)

4. 우먼스 클럽 재활용품
아이들 용품이나 더이상 사용하지 않는 중고품들을 기증해 주시기 바랍니다.
*이번 강청소때에 지부원들이 가져 오시도록 지부장님들께서 협조해 주시기 바랍니다.
5. 네팔 봉사
    7월 1일 출발예정으로 2주가량의 일정이 예상됩니다.
    추후 자세한 사항은 알려 드리겠습니다.
    *아리랑 TV에서 PAVA 할리웃 퍼레이드를 주제로 다큐멘터리를 만들 예정입니다.
모두가 PAVA를 지켜보고 있는만큼 우리모두 아이들을 더욱더 격려하고 칭찬하며 최선을 다할수 있도록 해주시기 바랍니다.

1. Hollywood Parade Practice
    Please use YoungNak Church's parking space well: help expand parking space by using all the space possible.
    Please help your children act like the influential individuals of PAVA by encouraging them to clean up after their messes.
To gain the captain award for the parade, you must be enrolled/have participated in the leadership class.

2. LA River Clean Up
    When: 10/29/11 Saturday 8-11AM
    Address: 3201 Riverside Drive LA, CA 90027

    *The gate will by open at 7:45AM. The presidents must arrive by 8.

3. Each district must write at least 500 letters. Everyone must write 20 letters each by November 27. Please do not type it, it will be more meaningful if the letters are handwritten.

4. Let's help donate to the Women's Club! Please donate any children's items or any used items that you no longer use.
   *Please bring the items to the River Clean Up.
5. 아리랑 TV will be making a documentary on PAVA's practices for the Hollywood Parade.

Since everyone will be looking up to PAVA, please help our children become more confident by complimenting them. Let's all try our best!
